Aariz - 7 years, 9 months
Aariz has handwritten Ramadan with glitter on green-coloured paper to celebrate the blessed spirit of the holy month of Ramadan. He also drew a small car using silver, blue and gold glitter. Aariz wishes Ramadan Kareem to everyone in the ummah.
Dana - 5 years old
Dana has drawn using coloured pencils a beautiful masjid with people meeting together and praying Taraweeh. She also drew a moon and a sun. What a beautiful atmosphere!
Eshal - 11 years old
A beautiful Ramadan Mubarak card has been designed by Esha presenting the universe where a silvery-white moon is produced with dangling Ramadan lamps. She has also used gold glitter paint to write Ramadan 2021. What a lovely design!
Eyad - 8 years old
Eyad has created scarlet red and light green Ramadan good bags. They have beautiful Arabic and mandala patterns with blue gems in the middle. Some of the boxes have a crescent moon and 5-point stars. Ramadan Mubarak with a smile is also written per box. It is beautiful to exchange small gifts with loved ones in the blessed month of Ramadan.
Fatima - 5 years old
A Ramadan Kareem card has been designed the lovely Fatima. She has used coloured pencils, glitter gel pens to create the Ramadan lamps, 5-pointed stars, crescent moon and the garland on green card. In addition, she did extra decorations by drawing a masjid using coloured pencils. Very creative!
Hadeeqa Soha - 10 years old
A Ramadan Mubarak frame with a blend of different colours in the background. The young artist has painted a crescent moon and the five-pointed star that symbolises Islam. The first visible appearance of the crescent moon after the new moon marks the beginning of each month. Very talented and useful for room decoration.
Jenna - 5 years old
Jenna drew herself and her sister being happy that Ramadan is here. They have decorations in the scenery where there are colourful garland and bunting banners. Both are wearing dresses with pink-coloured love hearts. She utilised felt tips to colour in her drawing.
Julia - 5 years old
Julia has submitted two art pieces. The first art piece is a beautiful Ramadan Lantern painted by Julia in different colours mainly blue, red, gold and silver that can be hung up in the ceiling as decorations. Her second piece of artwork is a cube-shaped artefact painted red and blue-green decorated with coloured sequins, gems and 4 blue-painted gems. This is on a cloth with traditional Egyptian patterns.
Leila - 7 years old
Leila has drawn a Ramadan lantern known as Fanous on a pink-painted canvas (8 x 6 cm). She has painted the Fanous using purple and blue acrylic paint decorated with blue, purple, and silver glitter. The combination of colours presents a warmth, spiritual and happy feeling.
Malak - 9 years old
Malak enjoys drawing and handcrafts where she usually spends her time on Youtube videos to train and improve her skills. She wants to be an interior designer when she is older. Malak is inspired by the number of people going to pray Taraweeh in the blessed month of Ramadan. To illustrate this feeling, on a canvas, she has attached a heart-shaped cloth where she has drawn and painted a masjid on a red-orange background where people are heading to prayer. Malak has used a combination of felt-tip, coloured pencils, ball-point pen and glitter. There are dangling 5-point stars and hearts that illuminates the atmosphere. She has written Ramadan Kareem in Arabic using ball-point pen and ‘Oh Allah’ in Arabic. This beautiful art piece to be added onto a table display where here, she has placed it on a traditional Egyptian cloth.
Maleeha - 6 years old
Maleeha has drawn a happy Muslim girl giving pink hearts of love away to everyone surrounded with blue and pink lines presenting sparkles. She has also drawn a yellow-coloured crescent moon and has beautifully written Ramadan Mubarak in blue and pink. This has been done using coloured pencils. This frame can be added to a table display with other decorations as shown here where there is a flower in a vase.
Mariem - 14 years old
Mariem has went an extra mile in an artistic way and has submitted a range of art pieces. She has done a crescent moon with jewels and pearls positioned within a brick for table display especially near candles as presented Mariem has also done three frames. The first gold-glittered frame is on a navy-blue polka dot display. It has a schedule for time of Suhoor and iftar where she has added gold mandala art patterns and masjid for decorations. Ramadan Mubarak is printed in gold-painted English calligraphy.
The second frame has a similar design background as the first frame. There is a mnemonic for Ramadan inspiring herself and all those around her in the remembrance of Allah all the time.
The third frame is titled with Ramadan rules that provide tips on how to make the most of Ramadan. This also has navy blue polka dots decorated with gold mandala art patterns but with additional elements of Ramadan lanterns, crescent moons, and stars.

Marya - 10 years old
Marya has made a beautiful wreath with 10 silver-foiled, 5-point stars and red, orange, yellow and green LED solar string lights. There are three black/dark-grey metallic Ramadan lanterns dangling from it. In the middle, there is a gold metallic stand stating Ramadan Kareem in Arabic calligraphy with a crescent moon and 5-point star. This is beautiful to be hung as display on the door. How creative!
Menaal - 9 years old
Menaal has created a lovely Ramadan Kareem card where she utilised coloured pencils and glitter-coloured gel pens for the garland and bunting banner, flowers and ramadan lamps. Very decorative!
Mohamed - 12 years old
A large, gold-coloured crescent Moon with three gold 5-pointed stars dangling from it. There is also a beautiful lamp reminiscing the Ramadan atmosphere.
Nabil - 10 years old
A large masjid using coloured pencils. Ramadan is about love and unity and this young artist has drawn people greeting one another with Ramadan Mubarak as they enter the masjid to pray. On top of the masjid, he written Ramadan in Arabic in red-coloured pencil.
Raneem (11 years old) and Retal (8 years old)
The sisters together created a large beautiful crescent moon with glittery gold 5-point stars of different sizes. There is an LED light placed within the crescent moon that luminates in the dark. How beautiful!
Retal - 7 years old
Retal loves gatherings during the blessed month of Ramadan especially going to pray Taraweeh with her family before the coronavirus outbreak. She hopes life goes back to normal where she continues to do so. Her feelings are presented in her drawing where she has drawn green grass and a blossomed, red-coloured daisy to emphasis growth and life. Retal has also drawn a family where they are waving happily outside a street of houses at night besides a large, yellow-coloured crescent moon that luminates. She has used a combination of coloured pencils and felt-tips. What a beautiful feeling by a young artist!
Sara - 8 years old
Sara has done 30 small organza gift bags with daily tasks where they would need to review the Quran and gain a small prize. The gift bags are decorated with a yellow-coloured 5-point star for every odd day and silver-coloured 5-point star for every even day. This is a productive way to make the most of Ramadan. Sara has also numbered them and organised them by each ashra (ten days) of Mercy, Forgiveness and Protection from the Hellfire on a rope from one end to another representing the straight path. How creative!
Talia - 5 years old
Talia has submitted two artworks. The first art piece is a beautiful lantern where Talia has painted the roof with light purple/lilac. The second art piece is a cube-shaped box which she has made and painted it pink, blue and light blue ribbons and gems. There is also nine, light blue buttered slime. How beautiful!
Yasir - 13 years old
This young artist wanted to provide an in-depth view in the sky, a red scarlet crescent moon with white clouds in the dark blue sky using coloured pencils. He has also written in Arabic and English the word Ramadan in dark green. Mashallah!
Yassin - 10 years old
Yassin has created a beautiful lantern and painted it light blue. He has painted the side and corners of the roof with gold and in the middle glittery gold. Yassin has also created a cube-shaped box with blue gems and sparkly blue butter slime. He has carved a heart-shape in the middle of the box where you can see a small candle. Ramadan lightens the heart!
Yusuf - 8 years old
Yusuf has used his creative skills to make a Ramadan calendar where he has set a target each day on simple acts of kindness. He has used coloured card, felt tips and coloured pencils to produce this source. A number of Ramadan-linked elements that can be identified for instance, crescent moon, stars and the masjid. Very productive!
Zoya F - 7 years old
Zoya likes crafting and reading books. She has drawn a beautiful drawing of a mosque on a beautiful day during Spring. She has used paint brush markers, silver glittery paint, pencils, and crayons. In her art piece, you can see a large tree with green and red heart-shaped leaves representing growth of love during the blessed month of Ramadan. The sun is shining brightly presenting Zoya’s happiness. The flowers are crescent-shaped, and star-shaped presenting light of faith. Her love for the masjid is presented by a clear red heart and stars.
Zoya H - 8 years old
Zoya likes to draw and code. She has called her drawing the Ramadan Moon. She drew a yellow crescent moon and 40 light blue stars to present what she sees when she looks out the window. The moon was coloured using crayons whereas the stars were coloured using coloured pencils. She has an Instagram page where she posts her artwork: @zupersketches
